This site is Laalo Ceesay's personal portfolio. It processes as little data as possible: it sets no cookies and does not track visitors individually.

Contact form
When you send a message through the form, I process the name, email address and message you provide. They are delivered to my mailbox through Google's Gmail service and kept there for as long as our correspondence requires.
The legal basis is legitimate interest: replying to your enquiry. The data is not used for marketing and is not shared with anyone.
Spam is filtered with a hidden form field, a submission-time check and a rate limit. No third parties or cookies are involved.
Visitor statistics
Visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Visitors are distinguished by a server-side hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so no individual can be identified.
The statistics record the page URL, referrer, country and city, browser, operating system and device type. IP addresses are not stored. The legal basis is legitimate interest: monitoring that the site works and how it is used.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies and uses no other identifiers stored in the browser, which is why there is no cookie banner.
Server logs and third parties
The site is hosted on Vercel, whose server logs briefly record technical request data such as the IP address. Project images are served from Contentful's content delivery network. Links to GitHub and LinkedIn lead to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data about you is processed and to request its correction or deletion. Send requests to the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
